Frequently Asked Questions
What can we help you find
Can’t find answers and still have specific questions? please reach out to us here: support@bayse.markets
What is the minimum amount to create a contest?
You can create a contest with as little as $1 or ₦1,000.
How does Bayse integrate with FPL?
Bayse connects to your FPL team using your FPL Manager ID. Once linked, Bayse automatically syncs your FPL scores every Gameweek for fair and accurate results.
How do I link my FPL account to Bayse?
Go to your Bayse profile, enter your FPL Manager ID, and make sure your FPL team is set to public rather than private.
What contest types are available on Bayse?
You can join or create Weekly, Seasonal, 1v1, Group, Range, Free (no entry fee), or Paid contests (entry fee required; winners share the prize pool).
Does Bayse use gross points or net points?
Bayse's Fantasy Premier League contests settle using Net Points—the points you earn in a Gameweek after subtracting any transfer-hit penalties so results reflect both performance and strategy.
How much does Bayse charge?
Bayse does not charge any service or platform fee on contests created within the app, so every manager keeps 100% of their winnings.
Why is my contest settlement pending?
Bayse waits for FPL to finalize all scores and bonus points before settling. This usually takes up to 24 hours after the last Gameweek match—if it takes longer, contact support@bayse.markets or reach out via in-app chat with your contest ID.
My Bayse score doesn’t match FPL. Why?
Short delays can happen while official stat corrections, bonus point updates, or defensive contribution recalculations are applied.
Who can I invite to my contest?
You can only invite managers from the FPL league you are using to create the contest, so only participants in that league are eligible.
How does Bayse know who wins the FPL contest?
Results are sourced directly from official FPL data. When the Gameweek or contest period ends, Bayse automatically settles prizes based on the final scores.
What happens if multiple managers get the same points?
Captain points break the tie first; if those are equal, vice-captain points are compared. Should everything match, the prize is split evenly among the tied managers.
