All You Need To Know About The Bayse $2,000 Quest

GoWagr is now Bayse. Read the announcement here.

Every trade you make on Bayse does two things. First, it puts your prediction on the line. Second, it earns you points on the Bayse Quest leaderboard, and at the end of every 30 days, the top 20 traders walk away with real cash.

No separate sign-up. No special requirements. If you are trading on Bayse markets, you are already in.

This article covers everything. How the Quest works, how points are calculated, what the rewards look like, and how to climb the leaderboard as efficiently as possible.

QUICK SUMMARY

The Bayse Quest runs for 30 days every month. Every trade earns you points automatically. At the end of each cycle, the top 20 traders share $2,000+ in cash rewards—with first place taking home $250. Points reset at the start of each new cycle, so every month is a fresh shot at the top.

What Is the Bayse Quest?

The Bayse Quest is a 30-day leaderboard challenge that runs continuously on the Bayse markets app. From the first day of each cycle, every trade you make earns you points. Those points determine your position on the leaderboard, and your leaderboard position at the end of 30 days determines your reward.

The Quest was built around a simple idea: the best traders on Bayse should be rewarded—not just the most active ones. That is why the scoring system combines both trading activity and trading performance. Volume matters. Consistency matters. But making good predictions matters most.

All your points are tracked automatically in your Points Ledger inside the app. You do not need to opt in, register separately, or do anything beyond trading normally.

How Points Are Calculated

Points come from four sources. Understanding all four is how you build a leaderboard strategy instead of just hoping your trades carry you up the ranks.

1. First Trade Bonus

If you are placing your very first prediction trade on Bayse markets, you earn 100 points instantly. This happens once and only once—consider it a head start.

2. Trade Volume Points

For every $10 traded, you earn 5 points. This accumulates across every market you trade, every day the Quest is running. The more you trade, the more volume points you collect — up to the daily cap.

3. Streak and Consistency Bonuses

Consistency is rewarded heavily on the Bayse Quest. Trading at least $10 daily for 7 consecutive days earns you a 2,000-point bonus on Day 7. That single bonus can move you significantly up the leaderboard—and it resets and repeats every time you complete another 7-day streak.

Miss a day and your streak restarts from Day 1. Consistency is everything here.

4. Market Diversity Bonus

Trading across six different market categories in a single week earns you a 1,000-point end-of-week bonus. Bayse has markets across sports, finance, politics, crypto, entertainment, and commodities—so this bonus rewards traders who follow multiple categories rather than specialising in just one.

5. Performance Points

This is where the leaderboard separates serious traders from high-volume ones. For every $0.5 in profit you generate, you earn 5 performance points. Performance contributes 40% of your total leaderboard score, which means being right consistently is worth more than simply trading often.

In practice, this means two traders with identical volume can have very different leaderboard positions based purely on the quality of their predictions. If you are making well-informed trades—not just frequent ones, the Quest rewards you for it.

The Daily and Per-Market Caps

To keep the leaderboard fair for all traders regardless of account size, Bayse applies two caps on points earned each day.

The daily cap is 10,000 points across all markets combined. Once you hit this limit, no additional trading points are awarded for the rest of that day, so spreading your activity across the full day is more efficient than front-loading all your trades at once.

Additionally, there is a per-market cap of 3,000 points per market per day. This encourages traders to diversify across categories rather than farming points from a single market.

The Rewards

At the end of every 30-day cycle, the top 20 traders on the leaderboard share more than $2,000 in cash rewards. Here is exactly how it breaks down:

QUEST REWARDS — TOP 20

🥇 1st place — $250 cash

🥈 2nd – 8th place — $165 each

🥉 9th – 20th place — $50 each

Total prize pool: $2,000+ distributed every 30 days

Rewards are distributed at the end of each cycle, after which everyone starts fresh. Your points do not carry over—each new cycle is a clean slate, which means every month is a new opportunity to compete regardless of how the previous one went.

How the Leaderboard Scoring Works

Your total leaderboard score is a combination of activity and performance. Activity — trade volume, streaks, diversity — makes up 60% of your score. Performance points make up the remaining 40%.

This balance was deliberate.

A leaderboard based purely on volume rewards the biggest accounts, not the best traders. A leaderboard based purely on profitability rewards lucky streaks, not consistent skill. By combining both, the Quest creates a competitive environment where smart, consistent traders rise to the top — not just the most active or the most fortunate.

Your monthly PnL is also visible in the app, giving you a clear view of how your performance is tracking alongside your leaderboard position.

How to Compete Effectively

If you want to climb the leaderboard, here is the most efficient approach.

Protect your streak above everything else

The 7-day streak bonus of 2,000 points is the single highest-value action available in the Quest.

Over a 30-day cycle, completing four full streaks without breaking earns you 8,000 points from streaks alone—before volume, diversity, or performance points are counted. Missing even one day resets everything, so treat your daily $10 trade as non-negotiable during an active Quest cycle.

Trade across all six categories every week

The 1,000-point diversity bonus is available every week of the cycle. Four weeks means a potential 4,000 bonus points just for trading across sports, finance, politics, crypto, entertainment, and commodities. This also happens to make you a better trader — spreading across categories forces you to find markets you actually know something about rather than concentrating all your activity in one area.

Be right, not just active

With performance contributing 40% of your score, consistent profitability is worth more than chasing volume. A trader making 10 well-researched trades a day will consistently outrank a trader making 50 random ones. Focus on markets where you have a genuine edge — and your performance points will compound over the full 30-day cycle.

Stay within the caps

Hitting the 10,000-point daily cap early means the rest of your trading that day earns nothing. Spread your activity throughout the day and across multiple markets to stay below the 3,000-point per-market cap while maximising your daily total.

Where to Track Your Progress

Everything is tracked automatically inside the Bayse app. Your Points Ledger shows a breakdown of every point earned, including which bonus triggered it. The live leaderboard shows your current position against every other active trader in the cycle. Your monthly PnL sits alongside your points total so you can see both dimensions of your performance at once.

No manual tracking. Everything updates in real time as you trade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sign up for the Quest separately?

No. Every Bayse user is automatically entered into the Quest. The moment you place a trade during an active cycle, your points start accumulating.

When does each cycle start and end?

Each Quest cycle runs for 30 days. Rewards are distributed at the end of each cycle, and a new cycle begins immediately after. Check the app for the current cycle’s end date. In English, at the start of every month.

Can I withdraw my Quest rewards?

Yes. Cash rewards are paid directly to the winners at the end of each cycle and can be withdrawn to your bank account like any other Bayse balance.

Do points convert to cash?

No. Points are used only to determine your leaderboard position. They cannot be converted to cash or withdrawn directly. Only the cash rewards for finishing in the top 20 are withdrawable.

What happens if I miss a day in my streak?

Your streak resets to Day 1. The 2,000-point streak bonus requires 7 consecutive days of trading at least $10 — any break in that sequence means starting again from scratch.

Is there a minimum trade size to earn points?

Yes. The streak and volume bonuses require a minimum of $10 per day to qualify. Trades below this threshold will not count toward your streak or trigger the volume point mechanics.

How are performance points calculated?

You earn 5 performance points for every $0.5 in profit generated. These points contribute 40% of your total leaderboard score, which means consistent profitability has a significant impact on your final ranking.

The Quest resets every 30 days. Your next shot at the leaderboard starts the moment a new month starts.
